The Problem

Overstretched IT team? No IT staff? Want to make more of your IT but not sure how? Plenty of suppliers willing to sell you solutions, but don’t know whether the solution is right? Don't want someone who provides a solution then walks away?

The Solution

I offer an IT management service which can be tailored to your requirements. Identifying opportunities to improve your systems. Investigating and recommending solutions. Implementing the solution and managing the 3rd party suppliers. Providing user training and go-live support. Importantly, continuing to provide ongoing support as needed and pro-actively identifying problems and opportunities for improvement. I'm normally engaged to implement a particular project, then remain involved, visiting on a regular (or irregular) basis. The choice is yours. You get top quality advice at all times and the ability to resolve real day-to-day issues immediately, without having to employ a highly paid IT person on a permanent contract.

Adam Walker

I am a computer consultant based in Bristol. I have direct experience in implementing all types of IT systems. From email servers to Accounting systems. From local networks to national 'Wide Area Networks'. From intranets to full blown eCommerce solutions... and much more… I have worked in Information Technology for nearly 15 years and have been involved in every area. If I can't do something myself I know someone who can.

Evolution not Revolution

Over the years I have experienced many projects and have developed an approach that allows me to deliver solutions which meet expectations. I describe it as 'evolution not revolution'. In Information Technology there is very rarely anything that can't be done, it's more what do you really want, how long will it take and how much are you willing to spend. Most projects fail or miss targets because they try to deliver a revolution. Unfortunately in revolutions you rarely know what you really want at the end, until you're half way through. I believe in breaking down projects into smaller 'evolutions', that are small enough to be delivered quickly. Anything that takes more than two or three months to complete is likely to change so much during it's implementation that the original goals will be wrong for the business by the time the project completes.
